The Sixers now have their Big 3. How does it compare to others?

Klay Thompson's dad is not happy with his free agency decision

It's one thing when your parents are mad at you. It's another when they're disappointed. And that's the case for new Mavericks guard — and Warriors legend Klay Thompson — who signed a two-year deal with Dallas despite his father's wish that he'd sign with the Lakers.

The decision came down to the Mavs and Lakers, and Mychal Thompson clearly had a horse in the race. Not only did he spend the last five years of his NBA career in Los Angeles, but he's also currently a radio broadcaster for the team. And he said Tuesday that he was "really disappointed" in his son's decision.

Sixers title odds improve after first wave of free agency

The odds markets reacted swiftly to the Paul George and Tyrese Maxey news, sparking a wave of excitement among fans and bettors alike. Before the George signing, the 76ers were priced at +1400 to win the 2025 NBA Championship on BetMGM. However, after the announcement, they made a significant leap to +800.

Philadelphia is priced as low as +700 to win the title next season on SuperBook. This marks the best odds the 76ers have had to win the title since the 1985-86 season when they were +350 with the legendary trio of Moses Malone, Julius Erving and Charles Barkley.
